We are delighted to be able to offer our clients this service. Many of our vets are Official Veterinarians (OVs) meaning that they are authorised by the government to issue certificates. Please make it clear on booking that you are coming to see about a passport, so that we can ensure one of our OVs is available to see you.
The Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA) have recently confirmed that on 1 January 2021 Great Britain will become a Third Country with respect to the EU Pet Travel Scheme. From this date, travelling with your pets will be subject to change.
Please be aware that Pet Passports will no longer be valid.
The recommendation is to start the process at least 1-2 months before your travel.
Animal Health Certificates (AHCs) will need to be issued for pet dogs, cats and ferrets travelling to the EU from Great Britain from 1 January 2021. If you are planning to take your pet abroad in 2021, please contact us as soon as possible to enable us to start the process in good time.

Please note, there are different requirements for some countries, so wherever you are returning from, it is important to check the latest UK Government information about travelling with your pet well in advance of your trip.
It is your responsibility as the pet owner to ensure all requirements are met.
