During this festive period we, at Champion Vets, are running a senior cat festive awareness offer.
As our cats get older often it can be quite difficult to spot symptoms of illness as they start to sleep more anyway, even more so in the cold weather of winter. That’s why we are offering free urine samples for all cats over eight years old and 10% of Wellpet blood test screens when booked with a nurse. These tests can check for many of the conditions that our older cats are prone to.
The conditions we’re most interested in checking for are chronic kidney disease, hyperthyroidism (an over active thyroid), diabetes mellitus and osteoarthritis. There are many others but these are some of the most common.
We are also offering a 10% discount on a vet consultation which follows on from one of these tests from our veterinary nurses.
