Welcome to Paisley!

We Are Your Local Paisley Practice - with Expert Local Vets to Treat Your Pets

Our Paisley branch was bought alongside our Glasgow branch in 2003 and was previously owned by famous local vet, Henry Pfaff. It was originally located on Glasgow Road next to Paisley Grammar school before we relocated to our current premises on Kilnside Road in 2010.

The reason for our relocation was simple; we had outgrown our previous practice and wanted to expand the services we offered our clients. However, from a glance you’d be unconvinced about the space we have to offer. That’s the beauty of tenements, they’re deceptive.

“When you visit our Paisley branch for the first time you may be surprised at how small it looks from the outside. But rest assured, our practice was purpose built by a veterinary designer and we have more than enough room inside to offer a whole host of services including operations, diagnostics, blood tests and x-rays.”

Stephen Champion, Principal Veterinary Surgeon

Our head veterinary surgeon in Paisley is Martin Liddell MRCVS. Champion Vets are extremely fortunate to welcome Martin to our team after more than 20 years working within the PDSA in Glasgow. Martin is a highly talented surgeon with a vast range of experience in both soft tissue and orthopaedic (bones and joints) surgery. This means that we are able to offer our customers' pets operations and procedures at a level often associated with referral centres - but at reasonable high-street vet prices. In practice this has meant we have been able to cure or save many pets in cases where otherwise their owners may not have been able to afford the treatment.

Our Paisley team pride themselves on being known locally as ‘the friendly practice’. And as well as greeting you with a friendly face on each visit, you may also become familiar with lots of them due to the fact they have been offering passionate, dedicated animal care with us for many years.  You may know in particular Dianne, who has been heading up reception in Paisley since 2000 - even before Champion Vets took over! There is not much Dianne doesn't know about the pets in our area of Paisley!

If you would like more information about our Paisley branch, or to book an appointment for your pet, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
