Here at Champion Vets we are lucky to have a great team of nurses who are able to offer a range of services, including a variety of nurse clinics. One of the most rewarding for our nurses to perform is a weight clinic. Normally a patient is referred to the weight clinic by one of our vets.

Our nurses deliver a one to one service where they will offer support, encouragement and handy tips and tricks tailored for you and your pet to help them reach their target healthy weight.

One of our patients, Maya, has been a star attending our weight clinic with Gayle, one of our registered veterinary nurses. The pictures to the right shows Maya’s size when she first started attending our weight clinic and since then has performed brilliantly, losing 10kg in the process!

From left to right of the photographs below, the first photo shows Maya a year later in March 2018 when she had started to make some progress but still had a way to go. The last two photographs are Maya now after reaching her target weight, which we are all very impressed with!
