The Cost of Veterinary Care Explained
Sadly there is no NHS for animals in the UK, so veterinary care of pets usually needs to be funded by their owners. We have provided a leaflet (below) explaining the cost of veterinary care and another offering a basic guide to veterinary insurance.
Champion Vets recommend that you consider taking out pet insurance for your pet, so that in the event of unforeseen circumstances, the funding of veterinary care will not be an issue when considering the best care for your pet.
Please do not hesitate to contact our vets or nurses should you have any questions.
